HEALTHY RECIPE: Gut Friendly Salad

A delicious and simple gut friendly recipe to support your microflora. As we learned from our Nutritionist in last weeks blog post about Restoring the Microflora – fibre is an essential part of this process. We have put together a recipe for a gut friendly fibre rich salad for you to try! Have it as a side with your lunch or dinner – or make a larger portion to have as a meal ๐Ÿ

What you will need for your Gut Friendly salad:

๐Ÿ Sliced Cabbage X2 Cups
๐Ÿ Grated carrots X 1 cup
๐Ÿ Chopped Flat Leaf Parsley 0.5 cup
๐Ÿ Green onion 0.5 cup
๐Ÿ Sliced Apple 0.5 cup
๐Ÿ Cedar Oil 2 tbs
๐Ÿ Lemon juice of half a lemon
๐Ÿ Salt to taste

Method:

๐ŸŒฟ Add the chopped cabbage, carrot, apple and green onion in a bowl and mix together
๐ŸŒฟ Drizzle with Cedar Oil & Lemon Juice
๐ŸŒฟ Add salt to taste
๐ŸŒฟ Add half the parsley into the salad and mix
๐ŸŒฟ Garnish salad with the rest of the parsley
๐ŸŒฟ Enjoy a happy fibre rich meal!
