The batter: whole wheat flour – 1.5 liquid (water, mineral water or milk whey) – 1 tbsp, 2-3 eggs, soda – 0,5 tsp, vinegar – 1 tsp, brown sugar – 4-5 tsp, salt – 0,3 tsp. olive oil – 3-4 tsp
50 gr. Poppy seeds (pre-soak in boiling water for 5-10 minutes) – a handful of cedar nuts, a handful of black raisins, cinnamon – 1 tsp, nutmeg, – 0.5 tsp.
1) Beat the eggs, add the flour and mix everything. The amount of ingredients are approximate, you can add more or less to your taste, but do not forget to keep the proportions. It is necessary to achieve a creamy condition, so it looks like a thick cream.
2) Add the soda to extinguish it with vinegar. Pour in the olive oil. Add brown sugar and salt, mix well.
3) The batter base is ready. Next, mix up the additional ingredients such as poppy seeds and cedar nuts.
4) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line 24 muffin cups with paper liners.
Bake for 25-35 minutes.
