Herbs de Provence is a spice blend, usually containing savory, marjoram, rosemary, thyme, oregano, and much more. We tried it with fish and we were impressed how well this pair matched.
water – 300ml
butter – 1 tsp
sea salt – to taste
herbs de Provence- 1.5 tsp
- Cut cod fillet into small 5-7 cm pieces.
- Melt the butter in a heated frying pan, put the chopped cod and pour in water.
- Stew each side of cod pieces at medium temperature for about 4 minutes. Add salt, sprinkle them with herbs and leave for a couple of minutes for the fish to soak with spices aroma.
